Located at Milton of Clava, Culloden Moor, Inverness, IV2 5EL
To succeed in this role you will need to be IT literate, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have knowledge of local area, be an effective communicator and have the ability to think outside the box. You will also be expected to cover various shifts on a rota including early mornings, late finishes and weekends. Must have own transport as public transport is not available.
Duties include:
- Making and receiving inbound and outbound calls from clients who have broken down by the roadside.
- Managing a team of roadside technicians and recovery drivers then sending the correct resource to the incident.
- Using our Rescue & Recovery computer system to dispatch jobs to technicians and recovery drivers
- Liaising with breakdown clubs and their members to gain information about roadside incidents.
- Keeping the members up to date with the status of their rescue.
- Managing technicians and recovery drivers using our live tracking system.
- Write a detailed report on each job of what work was carried out.
- General House keeping which includes basic cleaning duties
- Use of Microsoft Office packages such as Word and Excel.
- Check road conditions and alert roadside technicians and recovery drivers of any road closures or incidents that may be in their path and then find an alternative route for them.
