With the announcement from the government of lockdown restrictions been eased ,we will all be hopefully moving around again and we want to remind all our customers about some basic vehicle checks you should be carrying out before going on the open roads.
Have you got a current MOT? All exceptions for vehicle MOT’s have now come to a close and you will be required by law to have a current MOT on you vehicle, you must also have road tax and valid insurance before going on the road. If you do not have one of these 3 you will not be covered by law if the worst was to happen. Not only by law you may not be covered but with some recovery clubs such as RAC, AA and Green Flag will not assist you with out these legal requirements. (you would find this information in the small print of your terms and conditions)
We would also encourage all our customers to do some basic vehicle maintenance if your vehicle has be sitting for a while.
Checking things like your tyre treads, tyre conditions i.e. any signs of perishing on your tyre and your tyre pressures. You can find the correct tyre pressures in your owner manual or check with you vehicle manufactures for their recommendation.
Checking your levels is another important task to carry out. You should carry out basic checks such as oil level, water level and screen wash. This is recommended to be done every time you fill up your vehicle with fuel.

We will carry out a full vehicle health check and top up your screen wash, oil and water levels, we will also check and adjust your tyre pressures to manufactures recommendation and supply a full technical report on collection of your vehicle. If any other work is required on your vehicle our friendly service staff will advise you on this and provide you a quotation on request.
